Learn useful plumbing skills in a friendly, hands-on environment. Every night is different, so each visit gives you something new to practise and take home.

Hands-on skills session
Welcome, safety briefing, tutor demonstration and plenty of supervised practice.
Optional social
Stay, meet other members, discuss projects and unwind after the practical session.
Skills we will rotate through
The exact topic changes each Thursday. Sessions will be announced in advance so you can book the nights that interest you.
Pipework basics
Compression fittings, push-fit systems, isolation valves and leak repairs.
Radiators
Removal, refitting, bleeding, balancing, TRVs and lockshield valves.
Taps and mixers
Changing taps, replacing washers and diagnosing common drips.
Toilets
Fill valves, flush valves, running toilets, wastes and common faults.
Soldering tasters
Safe torch use, copper preparation and supervised practice joints.
Bathroom basics
Baths, showers, basins, wastes, sealing and finishing techniques.
Leaks and repairs
Finding leaks, temporary fixes, pipe repairs and prevention.
Tools and knowledge
Choosing tools, materials, fixings and safe working methods.
You will not cover everything in one evening. The value comes from returning for different weekly topics and steadily building a broader set of practical skills.
