Practical training in Deeside, with a maximum of four learners and all tools and materials included.
You prepare and join pipework, solder on our training rigs and practise everyday plumbing tasks yourself, with feedback from Mike. The aim is to build your skills and confidence through hands-on practice in a small group.
Three days gives you a foundation to build on. It does not make you a fully qualified plumber; independent work still needs practice, experience and an understanding of your limits.

Water isolation and working safely; plastic push-fit and compression fittings; copper compression joints; outside-tap requirements; introduction to Yorkshire and end-feed soldering.
A full practical soldering day: prepare copper pipe, control heat and build flow-and-return pipework on our simulated boiler rigs. Test your joints and improve your technique.
Work with radiators, TRVs and lockshield valves; practise draining, refilling, bleeding and balancing. Cover toilets, basins, taps, common leaks and practical fault finding.
No. This course covers practical plumbing skills. It does not train or qualify you to carry out gas work.
Yes. The three-day course provides the plumbing foundation for our five-day bathroom-fitting course. Together they form the £1,295 eight-day package. If you book the three-day course first, you can add the five-day course for £745.
